peter introduces himself like this: “i’ve started making music with an oric-1 home computer in the middle of the 80ties, later the commodore amiga was the flagship and then….the casio fz1 and now i use the galaxy of software and the korg mx1, roland tr727, roland jx8p, korg ms20, yamaha tg33, yamaha dx7”.

this makes things clear: peter is one of these producers that use older analogue machines along more recent software gears. and you can hear this in his productions. it sounds huge, powerful while style wise keeping things on to the soul filled part of the dance floor.

peter delights us here with two stunning tracks that contain modern beat structures echoing rather old-school house patterns and hooks. as always, with peter’s incredible music, originality and surprises are 100% at the rendezvous.

skat, the paris underground groove machine, the ever banging and so respectably personal sounding producer is onboard at sthlmaudio! mais oui!!!

fred aubourg a.k.a. skat made his first musical education in the early 80’s in rouen by listening his father during his radio show. hidden behind the mixer, he discovers artists and musical styles which would soon become essential for him, and would naturally lead him towards house, hip house and hip hop as well. he will then build his first loops with a k7 recorder in the mid 80’s…

skat comes here with a deliberately house ep. and it makes us all happy; because we’re tired of the sterile, tired of the clicks with micro kicks. we want it huge, groovy and with a damn hook that makes you’re booty shakin, and believe us, every single seconds of that ep is full of that!

chaton joins sthlmaudio recordings with a stunning modern techno journey. “catch the beat” is a track full of swing, including tremendous basslines and wonderful effects. on the flip side, agnès got his hands on the remix duties. his “limmat luftmadratz redive” is very housey and slightly slower then the original version.
