the latest num release sees a collaboration between the swiss-based artists lad & dave the hustler. lad cut his teeth playing with the popular swiss grind core band nostromo, while simultaneously pursuing his love of house and techno. dave the hustler is a prolific producer and remix artist, having worked with felix da housecat, kate wax, ladytron, iggy pop and even ozzy osbourne, while also establishing his own label, paparazzi. the remix on the flip side comes from quenum!

halland is a collaborative project between stockholm’s elias landberg (ad-limited, soniculture) and martin skogenhall (mezzotinto, kritical audio).

their first release together gathers the best ingredients of their solo work to make an entirely different cake, producing lively and deep electronic techno. brimming with hooks and invention, this masterful work pays fitting homage to the notoriously dextrous ginger lynn (don’t google it at work).

num records presents again a fresh talent out of switzerland. liviu knows how to thrill the audience with his live acts and has been doing so for quite a while now. it is high time that he comes up with his first release!

dachshund is considered to be the newcomer of genevas techno scene. our favourite doggy comes up with a wonderful 12″ on num records. ever-grooving structures and rhythms are part of the “badger-dog’s” arsenal, adding the intelligent techno influences to his sound. shaking beats, dance-appealing techno hooks, dubbed-out bass lines – composed to a very elaborate production.

alex attias at num records might be a surprise to you, but for sure not for us. the internationally known swiss artist comes up with some of his unveiled deep techno productions. the kind of pearls alex is silently hiding.. not for long anymore! this ep is full of surprises, percussive works, modern house and techno, shaking hands for your own good.
