rumpelzirkus is kalabrese’s first long player and it is true and pure kalabrese from start to finish.

rumpelzirkus sounds like a spontaneous live session with good buddies. and at the same time
it reflects kalabrese’s life during the time while he was working on the tracks. rumpelzirkus is a
very personal album, dealing with the ups and downs of live as we know it.

rumpelzirkus is a great piece of music, getting on without too many electronic elements. it
is predestined for the morning after the night before. it is the sunrise after having pulled an
all-nighter getting blind drunk. and it’s definitely a collection of potential favorite songs!

two „auf dem hof“ remixes by solomon & justin harris and crowdpleaser to shorten the time till the release of kalabrese’s debut album. we are waaaaiiiiiiting!

after various netlabel releases, this is his third stattmusik release (“atr0b” on sämpler vol 2. and feuerholz (stattmusik mp3) by 34 year old benjamin fay from bern.. bang goes, well known through various releases on bruchstücke and stattmusik, rounds things off nicely with his remix on the b side.

just in time for the coming late summer we have the first solo ep by shaka on stattmusik! golden shimmering, warm and soulful house in the style of his tune on stattmusik sampler volume 2 sometimes with a few vocals, then again deeper and also funkier. but always warm and uplifting, playful and groovy. it sounds pretty american, summing up shaka’s roots in detroit house and all its various styles. music not only for the dancefloor but also for your i-pod or for a nice evening at home.

stattmusik was founded 1999 by rolf aeschimann. his goal was (and still is), to build an international platform vor national artists and musicians. dance- and sofa-music “behind” the mainstream serves as a musical guideline, whereas at least one track should aim for the dancefloor.
